We are proud to introduce our first foal of 2006 a
beautiful Kentucky Mountain Saddle Horse
Rocky is a chocolate with flaxen Kentucky Mt Saddle Horse
also will be registered RMH. This boy is just a blast,
with
personallity,
looks and just an awesome foal.
Rocky is not for sale, he is being kept
to become
my riding horse in a few years, since I have always
wanted a chocolate RMH. We are hoping he takes after his sire
for his coloring which is a rich dark chocolate with white mane and
tail, however until he sheds out we will not know. His sire Doctor Sam
can be seen here.

FRIESIAN/THOROUGHBRED COLT
“QUINTECENTIAL”
Quincy at 14mts old
“Quincy” as we call him is a exceptional colt
by the Friesian stallion “Quinn” out
of our Thoroughbred mare “No Pennies”. “Quinn” a
baroque, imported Friesian stallion, who is a son of the late, great Teunis
332 and a star mare, was
awarded a very respectable 2nd premie at the inspections in Holland for
conformation and movement. “No Pennies” a well bred Thoroughbred
Mare
sired by “Key to the Mint” who is the top international broodmare
sire.
“Quincy” born 05-21-05, Has all the makings to go to the top.
Great substance, exquisite confirmation, incredible balanced movement with
power and style. This big boy should grow to be near or above 17h, Imprinted
and raised naturally from birth, calm, curious and a real sweetheart. A
gorgeous seal brown, and already developing his sire’s feathering.
Quincy has natural jumping ability which should make him an awesome sport
horse, excelling in eventing, jumping and dressage.
He was presented at the American Warmblood Society inspections on
10-09-05 and received a respectable Red Preferred along with the
Silver medal for the whole inspection. He really seemed to enjoy it
and was very well behaved even for the branding. Update 06-02-06, just wanted to update some info here
on how Quincy is doing. Boy is he growing and his movement is
just awesome. Wow the Friesian look is there, will lots of feather and all.
He is still the in your pocket sweet boy who just
loves attention. He works very well in the round pen and his ground
manners are perfect. I have been very impressed with how good his
hooves are, extremely hard and wear very nicely. He is definitely
going to go places in the show scene. After many requests, we have
decided to keep Quincy and stand him at stud next year 2008.
We are extremely pleased with everything about him and can not
wait to see what he can do both in the show ring and his offspring.
You can see new pics of him on our stallion page. CLICK HERE
